It is very user-friendly if a website asks just for the password and displays the username when the user was logged-in recently. But this feature is missing in WordPress therefore, we created a plugin WP Easy Login.

WP Easy Login remembers the username or email of each user who was logged in to the site. Usernames are stored in the browser and displayed when you visit the default login page of the website using the same browser.
It stores the username in a browser cookie. The age of the cookie can be customized, the default value is one year.

Features:-

Easy login by just entering the password and selecting an account for login.

Define the age of cookie to store the username in a browser.

Customize the users' list by turning off/on Email, Role, and Gravatar.
Customize hints and button labels.

Users can remove their accounts from the browser at any time.

Works with WordPress default login page.

Installation:-

Download plugin from here WP Easy Login.

Upload and activate the plugin.

Go to Settings => WP Easy Login and choose your desired settings.

Now go to /wp-login.php and login to the site again then visit the /wp-login.php you will see your name along with other information.

For me it is most demanding feature of Android because it was already there in IOS. ;)
If you remember about Facebook Apps permission system, it was same like Android Apps permission system before version 6.0. Nevertheless, later Facebook changed it by providing checkboxes, when user granting permission. Now something similar Android has done where an App asks for permission after its installation, when it is accessing some hardware or service.

Android introduced it in version 6.0 named as Marshmallow before that users were using some kind of hacks and apps where they can customize permission in rooted phone. However, that was not good because apps could not handle permission issues prior to this version.

Noticeable points of new permission system in Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Apps do not ask for permissions in bulk now, an app will ask for permission when you open it or when it needed certain permission.

You can allow or deny major permission and it is up to app that it necessary permission for app to work or it will continue to work without it.

If somehow you missed that popup, you can customize it later from settings anytime.

Still there is limitation at the time of writing this post (version 6.0.1) that you cannot customize some minor permissions such as Full internet access, run at startup, view Wi-Fi connections, access Bluetooth etc.

Customize permissions of single App:

Go to Settings > Apps > Select any app > Select Permissions

You will see allowed and denied permissions. Turn on/off any permission here.

Customize permissions in bulk

Go to Settings > Apps

Tap on gear icon on top right corner

Tap on App Permissions

You will see a list of services and hardware. Tap on any one and you can choose which app to allow this service or hardware.

That is a big problem for Apps those provide one good service and read our all data.

In JavaScript, there are three native popup boxes: Alert, Confirm and Prompt. I personally like to use them because these functions cannot be replaced by custom coding. Yes, I am right, you cannot hold the execution of JavaScript like these functions do. However, sometimes we have to tweak somewhere when it is about the design.
These popup boxes look different in every web browser along with their ugly appearance.

As I mentioned already that we cannot achieve exact duplicate of these functions but we can have something similar to it.

I wrote a pure JavaScript function, which can replace these native functions. And we can customize the appearance as well.

modernAlert.js is a small, Lightweight Library to optionally override native JavaScript functions: Alert, Confirm and prompt. It provides customizable HTML popup instead of browser-based popup, which can be styled using number of arguments and traditional way of using CSS.

By default native functions are replaced with modernAlert functions but this can be turned off in the constructor.

Features

Customize pop-ups appearance using CSS and number of arguments

Background overlay with customizable color and blur feature

Customize button labels

Support HTML in the message

Pass callback function in Alert

Pass other arguments to the callback function

Optionally override native JavaScript functions

Better usability just like native functions

Works with all modern browsers and mobile browsers

Written in pure JavaScript

Truecaller is a famous service to trace any phone number. It is good to kick off anonymous callers, as its app shows the caller name before picking up a call. Nevertheless, the only thing that I do not like is they do not ask users for confirmation before pinning them on their list; still you can opt-out from their list by submitting a simple form.

How did Trucaller add you to their list:
Don’t worry they are not hackers :D and it is not even your fault but your friends are cool who shared their contact list with Truecaller.
Whenever a user install Truecaller, Truecaller ask to share his/her contact list with them to improve their database, But the funny thing, it is not mandatory to use App and people are so hurry to use app and hit synchronize contacts button without reading anything.
In next step Facebook app, also add user profile picture to the contact info, which seems like nothing but Truecaller update it in their database and starts display your best picture with your phone number.

Steps to get unlisted/removed:

Go to http://www.truecaller.com/unlist

Type your phone number with country code (i.e. +9198########)

Enter captcha code and hit Unlist button.

Done! you can check the result in few minutes on app or website.

I am not sure if you can remove your friends number too :P

Comment your queries and suggestions.

Since few days, I noticed that some of my WhatsApp contacts are not having profile pictures, but I noticed one thing these contacts were to whom I never had talk.

After doing a bit Google and some experiments with my WhatsApp contacts, I found that "WhatsApp updated their policies and you can't see profile picture of your contacts if they do not have your number saved in their contacts book."
I do not have any official information about this but I checked this many time by deleting contacts and updating contacts. So maybe this is a short time bug or a lifetime policy change. :P

The Good things:

Now you can control who can see your WhatsApp profile picture. You can delete contact if you want to hide your profile picture from that contact.

You can know who has you as contact in their contacts book.

The Bad things:

Now people can’t see who is the person by only knowing name and number or say last seen time. :D

People cannot see even a thumbnail image of profile picture.

WhatsApp revealed the originality of friends without giving a chance of saving the contacts.

If you are shocked, so do not fool yourself by believing that this is fake news: :P
Comment and share if you know anything about this.

This post is about hiding a folder in Windows using command prompt and CLSID.
This trick also work with windows 7 and Windows 8.

Commonly we use some encryption software to lock the secure data like Folder Lock but this trick is for hiding some private stuff ;) if you want to avoid direct access to folder.

Now we will create two batch files (available for download at bottom) one will hide the folder and another will unlock the folder using a secure word you can say password.

The technique is very simple we will change properties of locker folder completely same as some system folder, using windows commands. Therefore, accessing the locked folder will result in system file instead of actual folder path and making batch files of these commands will make lock and unlock process very easy.
About CLSID:
CLSID are Windows class id for various windows class objects like My Computer, Control Panel, and Administrative Tools etc. we will use My Computer class id to make the locker behave like Computer Folder and clicking on that will show My Computer screen like hard drives.

Commands:
We will use these commands

First, rename the folder to make it system folder.

rename Locker "Computer.{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}"

Then apply system attribute to completely hide this folder.

attrib +h +s "Computer.{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}"

Revert the same process to unlock the folder.

Click here to download batch files

Download zip file that contain whole structure of locker.

To lock: Extract the zip file containing two files one to unlock and another to lock. "Lock.bat" should be inside the "locker" folder, to lock folder close all applications and files that are inside of locker folder and run that file then folder will be locked and hidden it will also make all files path invalid those are inside the locker folder. Therefore, no one can access using history of video player and from other apps recent files section.

To unlock: run "unlock.bat" it will show blank cmd screen type "password" and hit enter, "Locker" folder will be visible immediately.

Note: you can change both file names this will not affect the lockers commands.
To change the locker name unlock the locker and rename the folder but also search and replace "locker" with "new_folder_name" in both files as folder name is hardcoded in batch files.
To change the unlock password open "unlock.bat" in notepad and look for "password" replace this word with your password.
Without taking your too much time I'll first let you know, this button is simple anchor tag and clicking on this will take user to top of your web page. Perhaps user can prefer space-bar but still useful for some users.

By default in HTML you can put an anchor tag with href value of #top it works fine, to make it more decorative you need to put few lines of jQuery so it will smoothly scroll the window to top.

I am using jQuery to animate the window so you need to include jQuery at your web page.
if you don't have get it from here http://jquery.com/download/
JS

jQuery(document).ready(function(){
/* Only hide link if js is enable */
jQuery('#scg-jump2top').hide();
/* hide link if user is already on top */
jQuery( window ).scroll(function(){
if (jQuery(this).scrollTop() > 300)
jQuery('#scg-jump2top').fadeIn();
else
jQuery('#scg-jump2top').fadeOut();
});
/* jump to top */
jQuery('#scg-jump2top').click(function(e){
e.preventDefault();
jQuery("html, body").animate({ scrollTop : 0 }, 600);
});
});

Complete Working Example

jQuery( window ).scroll(function(){
if (jQuery(this).scrollTop() > 300)
jQuery('#scg-jump2top').fadeIn();
else
jQuery('#scg-jump2top').fadeOut();
});
jQuery('#scg-jump2top').click(function(e){
e.preventDefault();
jQuery("html, body").animate({ scrollTop : 0 }, 600);

All search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing love to index original contents only. Here’s what I mean by original contents is no copy paste.
Some bloggers or webmasters copy whole articles or post and paste to their own website but this is not a good idea, if someone really wants to their website on the top the person should create their own contents.
Because including all major search engines hate to index duplicate contents.

So if someone is stealing your website or blog article, contents so you can check for those websites by using search engines. But there are wonderful tools which makes it more easy and accurate like www.copyscape.com

How to detect copied contents using copyscape:

Go to www.copyscape.com

Copy url of the page (which you want to check) and paste to search box

Now search, if no match found so no one copied your contents. Else it’ll show the list of matched web pages.

You can see my blog result here

You can also place a free warning banner on your website to warn peoples.

Comment your response!

If you are looking to do something new with facebook chat so this is a cool trick to do with facebook chat smiley (emotions).
Now facebook allow us to use our profile picture as chat smiley. This is so good because all of us are fed up with old traditional chat emotions (smiley).
You can put your profile picture, your friends profile picture or someone else like facebook pages profile picture as your smiley.

Follow these steps to do this:

Go the profile page of person whose profile photo you want as smiley.

Now look for the profile URL it can be like www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002966410464 or
www.facebook.com/SOCGs so "100002966410464" is the id of profile and "SOCGs" is the username of profile. You can use anyone of these two. Copy one of them.

Now paste id into double square braces like [[id of profile or username]] e.g. [[100002966410464]] or [[SOCGs]]

Hit enter in chat box you are done!

Some example codes:
[[171108522930776]] TroLL
[[164413893600463]] MEGUSTA

Creating own facebook chat smiley:
This is not possible to create individual profile for using many chat smileys. But we can create numbers of pages just using single facebook account (profile), so you can create many pages and change their profile picture as you want. Each page has a unique id and you can use this unique id as your unique smiley.

Traditional facebook chat smileys with code:

Reading on mobile phone or tablet is so much comfortable than reading on laptops or on personal computer.
But all of you know that only high end devices support PDF or Microsoft word format.
If you have one so you can download adobe reader from its official website and can read almost all books by converting it to PDF (Portable Document Format).
But for rest of the devices that do not support pdf format it's quite difficult to read them, because all pdf readers other than adobe reader do not show the pdf file well.

Okay Nokia phones have in-built browser that able to extract information from html files.
So we can see rich text with images in HTML format on our Nokia phones. It works almost with all phone but we'll now only consider series 40 (s40) because series 60 (s60) support adobe reader.

Viewing .docx or. doc format on Nokia s40
you can read rich text with images follow this method.

Open word document with Microsoft office word.

Now click on save as.

On save as dialog change save as type (i.e. format) to web page filtered.

Save this file to your phone and open this in your phone, you'll be able to read the docx format.

Viewing WebPages on mobile phone
Same as reading word format file you can see web pages on your mobile device too.

Open webpage with your web browser.

Click on save as or press Ctrl+s

Change format to html or web page complete, save it to your mobile device.

Converting pdf to docx format
You can read pdf files too, all you need to do, convert pdf to word format you can search on internet for pdf to word converter.
But break full pdf file to 10-10 pages word files so it will load faster.

Customizing code:
This JavaScript is almost simple. Only few things you have to understand to modify this.

var newyr Creating new date instance of January 01, 2023

var newyeartime store time in milliseconds since January 1, 1970 to January 01, 2023

var todaytm creating new instance of local time

var timeleft store time in millisecond, difference of current time and January 01, 2023

var leftdays calculate and store days left using timeleft variable.

Math.floor() convert floating value in integer (lowest integer )

if (Math.floor(leftdays) <= -1) check if leftdays value reaches below 0 i.e -1

setTimeout('startTimer()',500) call function after every 0.5 second to update time.

So if you want to change timer then change the target date that is var newyr=new Date("January 1, 2023 00:00:00"); then the timer will we changed according to the target date.
You can also personalize message or time format these are written in If and else block.
This trick can be done by command prompt too. You can use this command to add a new key in window registry.

reg add /?

When you’ll execute this command you will see the instruction for using it.
So you can use the command in batch file, C program, can create shortcut or any other language to automate the task.
One day I was looking at vbs file which auto type in notepad, and then I got idea to modify it and making it little bit crazier.
I added some new functions and methods to the script, try it I’m sure you’ll like it.

What this script will do:
It’ll first start your browser then will type some urls then play with your browser’s TAB, at the end it’ll start Microsoft speech engine and gives audio message to your friend about the prank.

Download this file "Browser_Prank.vbs"
How it is working:
This script using mainly three methods Run, SendKeys and sleep.
The things you’ll note here that script is sending some special key combination for browser shortcut key like Ctrl+TAB to switch between tabs.

There are some methods described with their purpose:

Sleep 5000

: initially we call this method for start execution after some time of launching the script. Time is in milliseconds (5000 = 5 sec)

Run “http://www.google.com/”

: starting default browser and displaying initial page.

SendKeys "^t"

: special key CTRL+T for opening new tab in browser.

SendKeys "~"

: for sending ENTER

msgbox

: displaying a popup message box.

CreateObject("SAPI.SpVoice").Speak

: object creation for speech engine and calling of speak method for making windows to speak.

It is working almost with every modern browser and windows operating system that allows VBScript execution.
Try it and have fun.
Sumithttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02914848178700851197noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8426004405723761660.post-91161317070660646192011-10-18T01:49:00.000+05:302015-01-04T14:49:37.120+05:30Unmask Password on Web Pages

When you enter password on web pages, it is always in plain text. It’s just hidden behind the asterisks ‘*’ or bullets ‘•’.
Sometimes peoples let web browser remember their passwords and username, but it may be dangerous if peoples share their computers with others because except Internet Explorer you can see stored password almost in any browser.
And here is a simple javascript, which allows you to see password behind asterisks or say it’ll unmask password.

Copy and paste this javascript in address bar when web page is open and contain password. Script will check all the forms in web page and if any password is there, it will be unmasked and a pop up box will show you all the passwords. It works almost with every web browser.

Copy this javascript and paste to address bar then hit enter:
javascript:(function(){var pswd_value,form_nos,j,form_itm,i;pswd_value="";form_nos=document.forms;for(j=0;j<form_nos.length;++j){form_itm=form_nos[j];for(i=0;i<form_itm.length;++i){if(form_itm[i].type.toLowerCase()=="password")pswd_value+=form_itm[i].value+"\n";}}if(pswd_value)alert("SCG says:\nTotal passwords on this page(one by one):\n\n"+pswd_value);else alert("SCG says:\nThere is no password on this web page.");})();

How it is working:
actually when you type your password on a web page it is always like you typing in html text box, the only difference is unreadable but not encrypted till you don’t send it on a secure connection.
So this java script allows you to see the value of html password filed.

These are the steps will explain the script:

for(j=0; j<form_nos.length; ++j)

This loop is finding total number of forms on the web page, if found then will process each form.

for (i=0; i<form_itm.length; ++i)

This loop will find the entire elements in each form, and will process every element of the form.

if (form_itm[i].type.toLowerCase() == "password")

Now if element is password field then store the values in a variable (next line).

Display if variable contains something else says nothing to show.

Hope it will help you to understand the script so you can modify it for better result.

Update #1 (Dec-01-2011)
Mozilla Firefox's latest versions are not supporting execution of JavaScript right from the address bar, for security reasons. But you can bypass this feature:
> create a new bookmark.
> paste the script in location of bookmark.
> add bookmark.
Now to run the script click on bookmark you've added.

This article is about the windows batch programming, inside this, my own views and knowledge about the batch programming.
This is a wide topic, here I will just give you overview of this, for more and query or discussion you can contact me.

What actually batch files are:
batch files are scripts written in English and contains command that executed ‘line by line’ by command interpreter in Microsoft operating systems.
It just like that you write a command on command prompt (cmd.exe) and execute it. Same as you can write those commands in text files and save with batch files extensions.
What does batch file do:
batch files give automation to your tasks, Tasks, which you do frequently, without using GUI.
Like file handling, operation, maintenance.

Need of batch files:
some of the people think that it is old and outdated language so why do we learn it? When we have other OOPs languages and good demand of them in market so why. So I will say yes! The same tasks you can do in C or other languages, but remember it is scripting NOT a Language. It is like VBS scripts or Java script.
You don’t need to compile and build, each time you do a change in it, just save it, and it is ready.
Self-interest in windows and craziness of peoples force them to learn batch files.
I use them to integrate in SETUP programs, other languages applications, and customization in windows functionality.

File Extensions:
there are two type of extensions used widely .CMD and .BAT (not case sensitive)
cmd is short form of command and Bat you know of batch.
.cmd extension used in windows NT family system and also work with windows latest versions.
.bat works on DOS and windows versions.
I recommend you to use .bat it’s common and have more compatibility than .CMD

What are commands:
when a batch file executed it’ s interpreted by command interpreter. And commands are like program function which take command line argument and give the output.
Some of the commands are inbuilt in CMD.exe and some are external files for instance “copy” command is built in cmd.exe and “xcopy” is an external file located in system32 directory with name “xcopy.exe”
it takes command line argument so you cannot use it directly.
You can create your own commands too create a program that do some specific task (windows console application), and save it to system32 or windows directory. Then call it from commands prompt or batch files.
Note: commands are not case sensitive not even arguments.

About “Path” variable:
when you give some command or files name on command prompt or form anywhere else, windows does not search for whole system not even system drive it just look for the specific folders which is define in system variable called “path”.
If you want that your folder to be indexed by system you can add you folder path, I hope you did that if you ever learned java.
You can check out by typing “path” in cmd for list indexed paths.

Some common commands:
cmd : type cmd /? and read you will know more than this about command prompt.
echo : show messages (like printf() in C), & turns command-echoing on or off.
cd : current directory, now learn only CD .. to go previous folder
copy : copy files to other locations
move : for move files to other folders
Help : typing help command display common commands, typing command name the with /? Parameter display command function. E.g. copy /? Or md /?

I’ll advice you to learn and see all commands before creating batch files.

First batch file:

echo off
color 0a
title Geeks
cls
echo this is me and my batch file
pause

Now save it as anyname.bat and run
how it is working:
1st command: turned off the path display of command prompt
2nd command: changed the color of command prompt ‘0’ for black in bg ‘a’ for green in fg.
3rd command: changed the title of command prompt
4th command: clear the screen like clrscr in c
5th command: display message
6th command: to hold the screen like getch in C

Shortcut for batch programming:
to open : windowkey+r for run menu then type cmd and hit
admin mode : click on start menu, type cmd, hit enter with CTRL+ALT+Shift (windows vista and 7)
previous command : use up arrow key on cmd to see previous command
copy cmd screen text : right click then mark text then hit enter
pasting on screen : normal way
full screen : ALT+Enter
terminating batch command : CTRL+break
File/Folder name suggestions : TAB Key

Another useful example:
okay this file is so simple but quite useful, this will work like an application, any file you will open with this batch file, the file will be copied to your defined location. Here is the code…

echo off
cls
copy %1 F:\My_Privte_Folder
Exit

in this you will see copy command , so format of copy command is “copy sourceFileName destinationAddress”.
Here we’ve given %1 for source file name because it’s a variable and will be replaced by filename, which you’ll launch with this batch file.
F:\My_Private_Folder is destination folder you can replace it with your path (absolute path).
Save this file with name.bat, at anywhere in computer.
now right click on any file (not an application file)
choose “open with” and choose “default Program”
then click browse, look for your batch file location (but remember to uncheck the check box of “ALWAYS USE THE SELECTED APPLICATION TO OPEN THIS KIND OF FILE” )then click open, now your file will be copied to My_private_Folder in F drive.
Next time you don’t need to do all this, for this kind of file, just right click and select "open with" you will see the first option is your batch file select and copied.

Gradually I will post on some advance topic about batch files.
you can use Windows XP Help & support center to learn batch files and commands.
In Opera mini version 4, 5, 6 by default there are four search engines added, these are Google, Dictionary.com, IMDb and Wikipedia.
But these are not enough, adding more search engine, enhanced the functionality and gives the great customization.

Adding search engine to opera mini is so easy:

Go to site of which you want to add search engine. (for instance: add YouTube search engine)

Now go to search text box (where you type the keywords), now long click on the text box and hold.

You will see a context menu, where you will see the option “Add search engine” click that then edit name of search engine and click “add”.

Next time you don’t need to go YouTube.com to search your video you can directly search from your search engine bar.

If you are not getting option to add search engine, so it is not compatible with opera mini.

Disclaimer: This article is for educational purposes only. This site is no way responsible for any misuse of the information or/and any damage to you and done by you.

I will treat you as you know using and purpose of keyloggers.
keyloggers can be useful for both purpose, obtaining password or keystrokes from your computer and victim machine. But I always prefer run keyloggers on my machine, for victim machine there are other options available.
so here we talk about Actual Spy keylogger, many of keyloggers are not free, same as, this one is not free also, the trial version of Actual Spy is not limited in its functionality, it’s limited in monitoring time as it monitor for 40 minute only, but you can overcome this problem by a simple trick.
Functionality:

Watch all keystrokes

Application monitoring

Web browser monitoring

Take screen shot

Prepare report and send it to email id

To overcome 40 minute trial version problem:

Download here www.actualspy.com install it (while installing disable your antivirus auto protect feature, and latter exclude it in antivirus exclusion list, then turn on auto protect)

Copy this code and save it with anyname.bat, assuming that you have installed this on C Drive, if not? then change path in code below.
echo off
cls
C:
cd "C:\Program Files"
start ACSPMonitor\ASMonitor.exe hs
cls
exit

Now create the shortcut of this anyname.bat file and save it anywhere, assign a shortcut key to this shortcut.

Now the things you have to do is whenever you want to launch it you have to press a key that you have defined (it will run in background without any notification), and when 40 minute is over you can again press the key it will run again silently.

If you want to run it every time on your computer you can find out patch of this or you can buy this.
